Frequently Asked Questions

Product & Materials:

Is this actually durable, or just a cheap 3D print?

Fair question. A lot of 3D printed products online are exactly what people worry about: thin walls, poor print quality, and little to no quality control. Dabdock products are different. Every piece is manufactured using premium materials on industrial-grade consumer equipment, hand assembled, and individually inspected before it ships.

We've been refining these designs since 2020 through thousands of orders, constantly improving the things customers don't even notice until they're wrong; fit, strength, tolerances, stability, and ease of cleaning. If the products weren't built to last, we wouldn't still be making them years later.

What material are the organizers made from?

Dabdock organizers are manufactured using premium PLA+ filament chosen for its strength, durability, dimensional accuracy, and reliable performance in everyday use. Each piece is produced using high-precision 3D printing technology to achieve tight tolerances, clean details, and consistent quality across every order.

Every material choice is intentional from the rigid structural components designed to support your setup to the silicone-lined inserts that cushion and protect your glass from scratches, heat, and impacts.

Unlike disposable or low-quality printed products, Dabdock organizers are engineered for real-world use. Every design has been tested through thousands of orders and continuously refined based on customer feedback, ensuring each product is built to be both functional and long-lasting.

What's the silicone actually for?

It's not decoration. The silicone-lined holders protect your glass from chips, dissipate heat from something you just used so it's not sitting directly against hard plastic, and keep sticky residue from transferring onto the organizer itself. It's the difference between setting your gear down and actually protecting it.

Will this melt?

Dabdock products are designed for normal dabbing use and everyday handling. The silicone components are heat resistant and designed to handle warm accessories after use.

However, like any organizer, it is not designed for direct contact with an open flame, torch, or extremely hot surfaces. Always allow heated accessories to cool appropriately before placing them into storage.

Will the colors match exactly what's in the photos?

Every piece is precision printed and hand assembled individually, so there can be very slight, natural variation between units, same way no two handmade things are pixel-identical. The overall look and color will match what you see.

Do you design these yourself?

Yes. Every Dabdock product is an original design developed in-house.

From the first concept to the final production version, each product goes through extensive prototyping, testing, and refinement. Many of the features customers appreciate today came from years of improving small details that most people never see, but definitely notice when they're missing.

Fit & Compatibility

Which holder actually fits my setup?

With this many options, we get it. Here's the fast version: if you want everything in one station, start with the Dabdock or Dabduck. If you already have a station and just need more capacity for caps or tools specifically, the combo racks and single holders are built to sit alongside what you've got. When in doubt, message us and we'll point you to the right one before you order, not after.

Do the banger stands fit my joint size?

The Silicone Lined Banger Stands are built for both 10mm and 14mm, no need to guess which one to grab.

Will my glass fit securely?

Every holder is designed around real-world dimensions and tested for a secure fit. The silicone inserts provide cushioning and grip (also heat resistance and non-stick properties) to help keep your glass stable while protecting it from direct contact with hard surfaces.

Can I request a custom color or design?

If you have something specific in mind, reach out before ordering. While we can't guarantee every custom request can be accommodated, we're always happy to discuss what may be possible.

Shipping & Ordering

How long until my order ships?

Everything is made to order, not pulled from a shelf. Most orders start production within 1–2 business days of purchase. From there it's in USPS's hands, typically another 3-4 business days depending on where you're located.

Do you ship outside the US?

Currently the US and Canada. If you're elsewhere, reach out before ordering and we'll let you know what's possible.

Why does it take a few days to ship if it's already made?

We don't keep a warehouse of pre-built stock. When you order, we build your specific piece, which means a short wait, but also means what arrives wasn't sitting in a box for months before you got it.

Why don't you keep products in stock?

We choose to manufacture products as they're ordered instead of keeping a large warehouse of pre-built inventory. This allows us to maintain tighter quality control, offer more customization options, and ensure the product you receive was recently made and inspected rather than sitting boxed up for months.

Do the glass pieces shown in the photos come with the product?

No. The bangers, carb caps, and dab tools in our photos are there to show scale and how everything sits together. They're not included. Only the organizer or holder itself ships.

Care & Longevity

How do I clean it?

For best results, use 91% iso alcohol with a cotton swab, cotton ball or paper towel to gently dab away any residue/reclaim or dust. If needed, rinse with warm water only. Do not put your Dabdock products in the dishwasher.

Will concentrate residue stain the Dabdock or silicone pieces over time?

The silicone is non-stick by design specifically to resist this. A quick wipe-down with 91% iso alcohol goes a long way.

Can I use the ISO Soak Tub or Jar for cleaning bangers and caps?

Yes that's exactly what they're built for. The baskets keep your glass fully submerged in isopropyl, and you can remove the basket to separate the iso when done for simple cleanup.

Ordering & Trust

Who's actually behind Dabdock?

One person. Started in a small apartment in 2020, still hand-building every order today. When you message us, you're talking to the person who actually made your piece, not a robot.

Is Dabdock made in the USA?

Yes. Every Dabdock product is designed, manufactured, assembled, and packaged in-house in the United States.

Unlike mass-produced organizers made overseas, each order is personally handled from production through shipping.

What if something arrives damaged?

Reach out with photos and we'll take care of it. Full details are on our Refund Policy page, but the short version is: tell us what happened and we'll make it right, everytime.

Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing?

If you're interested in carrying Dabdock products or ordering in volume, reach out directly and we'll be happy to discuss it.

Why is Dabdock priced the way it is compared to similar-looking products online?

Every Dabdock is the result of over six years of continuous design, testing, and refinement. The design has gone through countless revisions to improve functionality, durability, and the overall user experience. It isn't a generic organizer or a copy of someone else's idea, it's a product built from the ground up.

Unlike many low-cost alternatives, every Dabdock is made to order, assembled by hand, and individually quality checked by a single craftsman. There are no overseas factories or mass-production lines behind it. Every order involves printing, finishing, cleaning, assembling, packaging, and shipping by hand.

We also invest heavily in the tools and materials used to make every product. Dabdocks are produced on Bambu Lab H2D printers, among the most advanced and precise desktop manufacturing systems available today, and paired with custom silicone components made from proprietary tooling designed specifically for our products.

Running a small manufacturing business also means covering expenses that aren't immediately visible in the finished product: premium materials, specialized equipment, replacement parts, electricity, software subscriptions, packaging, website hosting, payment processing fees, rent, taxes, research and development, customer support, and the time required to continually improve the product.

Could we make it cheaper? Absolutely. We could use lower-quality materials, simplify the design, skip quality control, outsource production, or cut corners in dozens of ways. We choose not to.

If you're simply looking for the lowest price, there are cheaper options available, and that's perfectly okay. Dabdock is built for people who appreciate thoughtful design, premium craftsmanship, and a product that's made to last, backed by someone who genuinely stands behind every order.

You're paying for years of experience, not just hours of print time.
